Lanni Studios is an earth conscious brand built upon sustainable and ethical values. My mission is to create a business with purpose by encouraging slow and mindful fashion. Not only are my pieces ethical and lovingly hand crafted specially for each customer, they’re helping take care of the planet too.
We may not be able to remove all the waste in our environment, but we can turn it into beautiful swimwear that can be infinitely recycled. I believe in being fully transparent from the beginning about how my pieces are made and the materials used to produce them. I create everything myself from my studio and make everything to order to prevent overproduction and waste.
My plain colour swimwear is crafted using ECONYL® regenerated fiber, from nylon waste other wise polluting the earth. My print fabrics are made from Vita PL, by Carvico, made from pre and post consumer material like plastic bottles, destined for a life in the landfill.
Italian textile producer, Aquafil, rescues and recycles tonnes of nylon waste, such as fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic which would otherwise pollute the earth. Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity. That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as fossil-based nylon and has the potential to be recycled infinitely, without ever losing its quality. The result is a strong alternative material that is helping to clean our planet.
No plastic is used here. Instead, all orders are sent in a kraft mailer, which can be reused and recycled. This is an eco-friendly alternative to standard polythene bags that many fashion brands use.
